Beshkent in the Qashqadaryo region

According to local witnesses, the cemetery in Beszkent was established in 1942. We know from numerous accounts that Polish citizens were buried there - both troops and civilians. Unfortunately, personal details of those people have not been found so far. The cemetery was restored in 2010 thanks to efforts of the Council for the Protection of Struggle and Martyrdom Sites.
